Media Advisory: University of Bridgeport's First-Year Convocation Ceremony
Bridgeport, CT (09/11/2024) — University of Bridgeport (UB) is hosting its fall 2024 Convocation ceremony on September 17, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in the Wheeler Recreation Center at 400 University Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604. Convocation marks the first official academic ceremony and the beginning of the academic journey for incoming first-year students.
Speakers will include University leaders, faculty, staff, and alums who will recognize and celebrate first-year students as they start their inaugural semester of college and dedicate themselves to becoming lifelong learners. Speakers are also expected to highlight campus improvements, new partnerships, community events, and other noteworthy news.
